Position Overview:

The Cordeiro Group is seeking an experienced Controller to manage the financial operations of our portfolio of 25+ LLCs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all financial matters for the company. The Controller will play a critical role by overseeing and implementing day-to-day finance and accounting operations. This position reports directly to the owners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain financial records, oversee preparation and recording of all accounting entries, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting processes to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights to owners.
  • Supervision of accounts payable processes and related vendor statements and payments.
  • Lead the annual audit process, working closely with tax accountants and external auditors to ensure compliance and timely completion.
  • Stay updated on financial regulations and best practices to ensure compliance across all entities.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and experience with LLC structures and taxation.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, analysis, and reporting principles.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly.

Pay: $110,000 – $130,000

Weekly day range: Monday to Friday 8am-4pm

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal insurance accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs
  • Provide expert advice on insurance coverage options and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Handle policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations efficiently
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate terms and coverage for clients
  • Prepare and present proposals to clients for new or renewed coverage
  • Monitor market trends and recommend adjustments to clients’ insurance programs
  • Process policy changes and maintain accurate client records

Skills:

  • Prior experience in insurance sales preferred
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and insurance carriers
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms for clients
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in Portuguese is a plus
